About This Retreat

Have you been moving through the same routines for so long that everything is starting to feel a little too familiar? From February 6 to 11, 2027, we’ll spend five nights at Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge in San Ignacio, Belize for Wild & Rooted, a yoga and adventure retreat centered around movement, exploration, and real connection.

Mornings begin with strong, energizing yoga that leaves the body feeling grounded, capable, and awake. The days shift into something more dynamic. Ancient Maya sites, cave systems, river time, jungle trails. And in between, space to pause, to take in the surroundings, and to enjoy the pace without feeling rushed.⁣⁣

Imagine waking to the sound of the jungle, with the river moving nearby. Movement in the morning brings energy rather than depletion. The rest of the day unfolds outside, in places that feel unfamiliar in the best way. Experiences that draw attention fully into the present.⁣

Meet Your Retreat Leader

Allison Bogart

Allison fell in love with hot power yoga in 2011 and completed her first Baptiste-inspired training in 2014. In 2016, she opened her first hot yoga studio, transforming her passion into a thriving and supportive community. As the owner of Sweat Hot Yoga, a Yoga Alliance School founder, and an E-RYT 500, Allison has completed multiple 200-hour teacher trainings and continues to deepen her studies through advanced education and ongoing practice.

Known for her challenging, powerful, and energizing classes, Allison creates an experience rooted in strength, growth, and connection. Her teaching style encourages students to meet themselves where they are while gently pushing beyond perceived limits, creating space for both physical and personal transformation. She fosters an environment that feels supportive, motivating, and grounded.

Allison’s passion for connection extends beyond the studio. She loves traveling with her family and brings that same sense of exploration into her work, with a vision of leading yoga retreats that allow her community to step away from daily life, reconnect with themselves, and share meaningful experiences together.

Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge: A Hidden Retreat by the River

Set along the peaceful banks of the Macal River near San Ignacio, Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge offers an intimate, nature-forward escape where the rainforest feels close and alive. A $750 deposit is required to hold your spot
Remainder is due 11/2/26 (payment plans available)
Due to the financial responsibility of Panacea Retreats for booking and holding the retreat property, all payments are non-refundable. Travel insurance is required for this trip, if purchased within 14 days of booking, you can access “Cancel Anytime” coverage (Travelguard, Squaremouth, Tinleg and Good Allianz are good options).
Fly into Belize City ideally by 2pm
Your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond your arrival date
Currently, there are no COVID requirements to enter Belize or the United States (for US citizens)
